As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning and supporting students in secondary schools located in Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Berkhamsted and surrounding areas
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed.
Maintain a positive learning environment and manage student behavior effectively.
Support the delivery of pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects within the secondary curriculum.
Provide support to students who may require assistance with their work.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth running of the school day.
Requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behavior calmly and assertively.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
