Start Date: September
Salary: £20,000 - £21,000 (dependent on experience)

Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students during teacher absences. This permanent position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Manage student behavior in accordance with the school's policies.
  • Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Support students with their learning and encourage academic success.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with secondary school students in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in education and student development.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups as required.
