Our client is a 'good' OFSTED rated 11-18 mixed academy in North West London. We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Head of English faculty to join the team and further strengthen and develop the curriculum.
As Deputy Head of English Faculty you will lead and manage a Key Stage, to secure successful student outcomes. You will also lead and develop curriculum developments, teach outstanding lessons and deliver challenging yet inspirational teaching across all abilities and Key Stages.
The successful candidate should possess a relevant teaching qualification and may have experience leading or teaching a Key Stage, or they may be looking for a step up in their career, having had some involvement in curriculum developments in English. In addition, you should have a clear passion and enthusiasm for English, in order to provide and nurture a culture that values teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, be proactive and highly organized, as well as demonstrate excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm.
