It would be an advantage to the successful candidate if they can teach a core subject (Maths, English or Science), Computer Science, Business or Design & Technology (Textiles).

For the right candidate a R & R would be offered in addition to the above TLR.

Prime Purpose:

Effective Leadership of KS5. Due to expansion of KS5 in terms of number of students, we are looking to recruit a strategic leader who will be part of the School Improvement Team (SIT). This extended leadership role will require a dynamic and highly competent leader who can lead not only both Years 12 and 13 but who can also work strategically with the Academic Mentor Team assisting the Year 11 into Year 12 transition and ensuring all progression routes are guided (University and Apprenticeship).

This role involves being a visible leader across all years, making the Sixth Form provision integral to whole school practice and not as a standalone Sixth Form Centre, and leading excellence in Teaching and Learning at KS5.
