In addition, you will also have the opportunity to teach Design Technology, providing hands-on learning experiences for students in this field. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a STEM-related field.
- Extensive experience teaching STEM subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current STEM educational practices and trends.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the school's STEM curriculum.
- Teach Design Technology, providing engaging and hands-on learning experiences for students.
- Foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes innovation and problem-solving.
- Provide leadership and support to STEM teachers, promoting their professional development.
- Collaborate with departments across the school to integrate STEM principles into the wider curriculum.
