Secondary school, temporary contract (paid a daily rate, every week)
Commencing in January and finishing in April.
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Drama Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a long-term, temporary position, beginning in January 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons.
- Foster a love for literature, language, and the performing arts.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the extracurricular activities programme, including school productions and events.
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position with a temporary contract running from January until April 2024.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching Drama across different key stages.
- A creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and delivery.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Commitment to the holistic development of students.
