Wellingborough, Drama Teacher!

Secondary school, temporary contract (paid a daily rate, every week)

Commencing in January and finishing in April.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Drama Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a long-term, temporary position, beginning in January 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons.
  • Foster a love for literature, language, and the performing arts.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the extracurricular activities programme, including school productions and events.

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a temporary contract running from January until April 2024.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Experience teaching Drama across different key stages.
  • A creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and delivery.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
