Early Years Practitioner

There is a excellent opportunity in a Primary School we represent in Bedford. They are looking for a Early Years Practitioner to start in September, Monday-Friday - 8:30-3:30pm.

The Primary school has a Ofsted rating 'Good' with great facilities, a friendly team to work with and supportive Headteacher. They will offer potential career opportunities if you are looking to progress in the school and Dunbar work excliusively with them so we can offer competitive pay.

The main duties of the role include:

* Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing

* Help children achieve the best possible start in life.

* Support the nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum

* Ensure learning is linked to the child's development

* Plan for age appropriate activities

* Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals

We are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum Level 2 Early Years Qualification
  • Worked in a Primary School prevously and has experience specifically with Early Years
  • Hard-working and motivating work ethic to engage the children
  • Good knowledge & skills in literacy and numeracy
