English Teacher, Bracknell (full-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School located in Bracknell. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join the school on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position following a 20-week assessment period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to students in Year 7 to Year 11.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, with a particular focus on GCSE material.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the English department and the school.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the Secondary School level.
  • Confidence in delivering GCSE material and preparing students for examinations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
