Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Are you a reliable and dedicated individual with a passion for education? We are seeking Exam Invigilators to join a team, at a dynamic secondary school located in the vibrant community of Abingdon, Oxfordshire. As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of examinations, contributing to the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exam Supervision: Monitor and supervise students during examinations, ensuring a quiet and focused environment.

  2. Adherence to Regulations: Ensure that all examination processes strictly adhere to the school's and examination board's regulations.

  3. Distribution and Collection: Distribute and collect examination papers and materials before and after each session.

  4. Assistance to Students: Provide assistance to students with any technical or procedural issues that may arise during examinations.

  5. Maintain Security: Maintain the security and integrity of the examination process, reporting any irregularities promptly.

  6. Professionalism: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously.

  • Previous experience in exam invigilation or educational settings is an advantage.

Working Hours:

The role may require flexible working hours, particularly during examination seasons. A willingness to work mornings and afternoons, as well as occasional weekends, is necessary.
