Dunbar Education Presents: Examinations Officer

Location: Ofsted 'good' 11-18 mixed academy, Chilterns, Buckinghamshire

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week, term time plus INSET days + 1 week - 40 weeks with 5.1 weeks holiday pay)

Salary: Bucks Pay Point 5 (£29,192 - £31,684 FTE) pro rata- dependent on experience

Start Date: September 2023 or ASAP

About Us:

Dunbar Education is proud to collaborate with an Ofsted 'good' 11-18 mixed academy in Buckinghamshire in the search for a dedicated Examinations Officer. This is a permanent position, commencing ASAP. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating all aspects of examinations and external assessments, ensuring the smooth execution of these critical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examination Coordination: You will be responsible for the meticulous planning and organization of all aspects related to examinations and external assessments at the Academy.

  • ICT Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software (Excel) is essential for this role, as you'll be working extensively with these tools to manage examination data.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities are crucial, as you will be managing complex scheduling and prioritizing tasks, all while adhering to strict deadlines.

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with staff, students, and external examination bodies.
