EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the vibrant team and contribute to the positive development of their youngest learners.



Role and Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support children's learning and development through both group and one-to-one activities.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of resources and activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support children with personal care needs as required.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
