Position Overview: As a History Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage and inspire students in the study of history. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, creating a dynamic and engaging classroom experience, and contributing to the overall development of the history department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective history lessons.
  • Inspire students to develop a love for history.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the history curriculum.
  • Participate in department meetings and school events.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in History or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus.
