Position Overview: Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a respected Secondary School in Northampton, Northamptonshire. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching RE, has a strong understanding of the RE curriculum, and is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective RE lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student learning and development.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute cross-curricular activities and projects.
  • Participate in school events and activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum.
  • Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classroom settings.

Experience:

  • Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is advantageous.
  • Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
