Position Available: Fully Qualified & Passionate SEN Teacher

Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a fantastic school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special educational needs and disabilities (SEN), and a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN,specifically ASC,ADHD and SPLD.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and communicate regularly with parents, carers, and external agencies.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and fosters a love of learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in SEN education, and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working as a SEN Teacher in a UK school setting.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Current and valid DBS certificate on the updated service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom.
