We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Geography ECT to join our dynamic and successful Humanities department at a mainstream secondary school in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- To plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of all abilities
- To assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure that all students reach their full potential
- To contribute to the development of the Geography/Humanities curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date, challenging, and relevant to students' needs
- To work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school to share good practice and support the wider curriculum
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- A degree in Geography or a related subject
- A passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
