About the Role:
Dunbar Education is pleased to represent a well-regarded secondary school in Watford, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher. This part-time, temporary position involves teaching Geography to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 for 7 hours a week. The role will commence in September and continue through December, with a flexible schedule across two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Develop and implement creative teaching plans that cater to different student abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and a passion for Geography.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
