Role Overview: As the Head of Faculty, you will lead a dynamic department encompassing English and Modern Foreign Languages, making a substantial impact on the educational journey of the students and shaping the future of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Faculty, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and values.
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative curriculum initiatives to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment within the faculty, nurturing the professional growth of staff members.
- Lead by example through outstanding teaching practice in English Language and/or Literature.
- Collaborate with other school leaders to promote cross-curricular initiatives and enrich the overall educational experience of our students.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to communicate the achievements and progress within the Faculty.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching practice in English Language and/or Literature.
- Experience in a leadership or middle management role within an educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to embrace innovation in education.
