Head of Science in Harlow
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Science to join our team in Harlow, starting in September 2023. As part of a newly joined outstanding trust, this school is committed to providing a quality education that prepares students for their future as young adults.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Science department and ensuring that high-quality teaching and learning is delivered across all key stages. The role will include line managing and supporting a team of Science teachers, and overseeing the delivery of the curriculum.
The salary for this position will be on the London Fringe pay scale, with an additional TLR for the leadership responsibilities. The school is easily accessible from London, with a direct train out of Stratford that takes just 30 minutes. Alternatively, the school offers ample free car parking on-site for those who prefer to drive.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of teaching Science, and a track record of achieving excellent results. A degree in Science or a related field, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential for this role.
