Job Description:
We are currently seeking a committed and versatile Cover Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and engaging classroom environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects and year groups.
- Managing classroom behavior and fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as required.
- Liaising with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure smooth delivery of lessons and report on student progress.
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as taking registers and following school procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting or with young people is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
