We are urgently recruiting for a History and Geography Teacher to join a High School in Luton.
This is a full-time contract lasting until April, however this role may be extended beyond then.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching students according to their educational needs, including setting and marking work carried out by students within the school.
- Providing assessments, reports, and references related to individual students and groups.
- Ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students that meets internal and external quality standards.
- Participating in the school's staff development programme through further training and professional development.
- Collaborating with the designated Pastoral Leader to support the implementation of the school's pastoral system.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the U.K.
- Specialism in Geography and History
- Proven experience teaching Geography and History in U.K. secondary schools.
- Ability to set and maintain high standards of student achievement.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
