We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a SEN School in Hougthon Regis
This is a full-time position with a salary range of £20k - £30k depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will provide support to teaching staff, promote a positive learning environment and assist with activities and school trips. A key responsibility of this role is providing 1:1 support to students with SEN or other additional needs, which may include educational and social care support.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and an understanding of child development principles. Knowledge of relevant primary school curriculum standards would be advantageous. An NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is essential for this position.
