HLTA, Stevenage, January start
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified HLTA to join a vibrant secondary school in Stevenage. The candidate must have experience in supporting students with Autism and Behavioural Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support and guidance.
- Lead and manage classes under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress.
- Uphold a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate must possess:
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
- A passion for supporting the academic and personal development of students.
