Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join our dynamic team. This position involves working closely with Year 6 students, providing targeted support to enhance their learning experience, particularly in preparation for key assessments and examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and tailored intervention sessions to support Year 6 students in key subjects, particularly English and Mathematics.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
- Collaborate with the Year 6 teaching team to align intervention strategies with the curriculum and student progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering targeted interventions or additional support in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 6.
- Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials tailored to individual student needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
