Job Opportunity: Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant

This role is ideal for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Role Overview:
- Title: Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant
- Location: St Albans
- Immediate Start: Initially for the whole summer term, with potential for extension
- Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently plan, deliver, and assess intervention sessions to support student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify areas of need and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, focusing on academic and/or behavioural interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and student outcomes.
- Support classroom teachers with classroom management and instructional activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally as an HLTA or experienced TA.
- Proficiency in planning, delivering, and marking intervention sessions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
