Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Specialist to join our dynamic team starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons. You will be responsible for fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment, tailored to the needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver exceptional lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Assess and record pupils' progress systematically and keep detailed records of their achievements.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment where resources are accessible to all pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities and share best practices.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's progress and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status with experience teaching KS2.
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and child development.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
