We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their committed team on a permanent, full-time basis starting in September.

Position Overview: As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower young learners during a crucial stage of their academic journey. Working closely with colleagues, you will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum objectives and cater to the diverse needs of learners.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, creativity, and personal growth.
  • Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate children's acquisition of key skills and knowledge across the curriculum.
  • Assess children's progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to children's education and well-being.
  • Participate in the wider school community, including attending staff meetings, contributing to school events, and engaging in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum framework and effective pedagogical approaches for teaching young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for making learning enjoyable and meaningful for all learners.
