The Headteacher is happy to consider a main-scale English teacher with a few years' experience or a current TLR holder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to crafting a clear strategic vision to advance the ongoing enhancement of excellent English teaching.
  • Ensure the curriculum provided caters appropriately to all students across every stage, fostering a shared approach while also accommodating contextual nuances.
  • Take a prominent role in elevating teaching and learning standards, ensuring they consistently remain high, aided by the support of the teaching school alliance and the deputy regional director.
  • Participate in the teaching and learning group, utilizing coaching and mentoring to bolster the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Play an active role in enhancing outcomes through the delivery of top-notch lessons and masterclasses throughout the school.
  • Establish robust assessment frameworks across all key stages.
  • Lead the entire school's literacy strategy.
  • Engage as an integral member of the whole school Teaching & Learning team.
  • Undertake line management duties as delegated by the Head Teacher.
