We are currently seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. This role is pivotal in delivering tailored support to students across primary, secondary, and SEN settings, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff across primary, secondary, and SEN schools to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, spanning across different educational settings.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies tailored to primary, secondary, and SEN school environments.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum, providing guidance and encouragement suitable for each educational setting.
- Maintain effective communication with teachers and parents/guardians across primary, secondary, and SEN schools to monitor student progress and adapt support strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within primary, secondary, or SEN educational settings, or a strong desire to support individuals in diverse learning environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills adaptable to primary, secondary, and SEN school contexts.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach tailored to meet the needs of students across different educational settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across primary, secondary, and SEN schools.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or support assistance (desirable).
