Responsibilities: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting inclusive education and assisting students who require additional support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with various learning needs.
  • Assisting in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the classroom teacher and special education staff.
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development through positive interactions and interventions.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapting materials and resources to meet students' diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work in a dynamic classroom environment.
  • An interest in continuing professional development (CPD) and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or special needs support are advantageous.
