Learning Support Assistant
As a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant, you will have a significant impact on a student's education journey as you work closely with a non verbal child in Reception. You will work closely with an individual student, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important life skills. - Work closely with a specific student/students, providing personalised learning support.
- Assist with classroom activities and assignments to ensure the student's progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help the students build self-confidence and develop important social skills.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other support professionals.
- Maintain regular communication to track and report on the student's progress.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- The ability to adapt to the unique needs of the individual student.
- A commitment to long-term, permanent employment.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
