This secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and IT Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from Easter until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics and information technology to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK (preferrable)
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics and IT to secondary school students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
