Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team, with the opportunity to take on the additional responsibility of Head of Year. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating students in the field of Mathematics while leading and supporting their assigned year group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Lead and support the assigned year group as Head of Year, promoting their welfare and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and contribute to the school's overall educational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role or willingness to take on the responsibility of Head of Year.
