Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for mathematics.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and share best practices.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
