The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the curriculum for girls aged 7-13. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote a love for mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to the needs of students aged 7-13.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each girl achieve her potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics to children in the specified age group.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.


Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working in a prep school or independent school setting.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative and engaging teaching methods.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
