The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the curriculum for girls aged 7-13. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote a love for mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to the needs of students aged 7-13.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each girl achieve her potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics to children in the specified age group.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.

- Experience working in a prep school or independent school setting.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative and engaging teaching methods.
