Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our school in Milton Keynes. This role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team following an initial temporary period. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching with a non-marking approach, prioritizing feedback over traditional marking methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of students across various ability levels.
- Provide meaningful feedback to students rather than marking their work, encouraging independent learning and progress.
- Monitor student progress and use data to inform instruction.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for learning Mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and curriculum delivery.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and staff to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, with experience in teaching Mathematics.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required for temp-to-perm roles).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students and cultivate a passion for Mathematics.
- A willingness to adapt to the school's non-marking feedback approach.
