We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team on a full-time maternity contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' mathematical learning and development at an OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Romford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons for students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Promote a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement
- Differentiate teaching to cater to the needs of all learners
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Participate in department meetings, school events, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practice and student outcomes
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to inspire and motivate students
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential
- A commitment to continuous professional development
