Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging and challenging English and Media lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing student behavior effectively to enhance the overall classroom experience.
- Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to track and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English and Media curriculum, incorporating innovative and dynamic teaching methodologies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure a holistic and supportive learning environment for students.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in or lead extracurricular activities related to English and Media, promoting students' holistic development.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching English and/or Media in the UK education system.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in English and Media studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
