About the Role:

Dunbar Education is excited to represent a distinguished secondary school in Hitchin, seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher. This full-time, temporary position requires teaching both Spanish and French to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will commence in September and continue through December, with the potential for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish and French to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement dynamic teaching plans that cater to varying student abilities.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proficiency in teaching both Spanish and French at KS3 and KS4 levels.
