About the Role:
Dunbar Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Assistant position at a vibrant and welcoming school in Islington. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about working with young children and committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their development.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Nursery Teacher in planning and implementing educational activities
- Providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children
- Assisting with daily routines, including meal times and nap times
- Observing and recording children's progress and development
- Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
- Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS
