Nursery Teacher

Location: High Wycombe
Salary: Competitive/According to Experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A Primary School based in High Wycombe is a dynamic and inclusive school dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for our youngest learners. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join the school team and create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our nursery children.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities that support the early years curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement best practices in early childhood education.
  • Create a rich learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, that encourages exploration and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
