Position Overview: As the Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children aged between 0-5 years old. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the development and wellbeing of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of engaging and stimulating activities to support children's learning and development
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community within the nursery
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for development and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a leadership or supervisory role within a childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early years education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
