The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PE Teacher with a strong background in lacrosse to join the dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the physical education program, inspiring young girls to achieve their best in sports and physical fitness.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons with a particular focus on lacrosse, tailored to the needs of students aged 7-13.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
  • Organize and oversee lacrosse training sessions, matches, and tournaments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each girl achieve her potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in and support the organization of extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching PE, with a strong emphasis on lacrosse, to children in the specified age group.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Physical Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.


Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working in a prep school or independent school setting.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative and engaging teaching methods.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
