We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance teacher to join our vibrant team at a Milton Keynes secondary school. This full-time role is available for an immediate start, catering to individuals with experience in dance education or those who possess a fervent enthusiasm for teaching and have substantial practical experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that caters to students of various skill levels and abilities
- Organise and coordinate extracurricular dance activities, performances, and events
- Develop student's choreography skills and understanding
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in teaching dance or a related field.
- Ability to inspire and engage secondary school students in the art of dance.
- Understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to design lesson plans accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Recognised teaching qualification (although the school may consider unqualified candidates with substantial experience).
- Experience in choreography and performance coordination.
