Job Title: Physics Teacher

Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Start Date: Janaury 2024

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school located in the historic city of Oxfordshire. As a Physics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate our bright and curious students, fostering a love for the subject while nurturing their academic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Physics lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore and question the fundamental principles of Physics.
  • Provide individualized support to students, ensuring their understanding and progress through regular assessments and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Encourage participation in extracurricular activities such as science clubs, competitions, and educational trips.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students of different abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
