Premises Manager at Islington Primary School
Location: Islington

Hours: Full-time, 7am - 4pm, Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £90 - £110 per day, with weekly pay

About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Premises Manager to join our team at a large primary school in Islington. This full-time role is essential to maintaining the school's standards and ensuring the smooth running of the premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including fire alarm testing, ensuring compliance with regulations, general housekeeping, overseeing the playground, and managing deliveries. Please note that opening and closing the school premises is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular fire alarm testing and maintain safety protocols
  • Ensure all school standards and regulations are met and adhered to
  • Manage and complete necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Oversee general housekeeping and maintenance of the school premises
  • Supervise the playground during school hours
  • Manage and oversee deliveries to the school
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the school

Requirements:

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a school setting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality
