Salary: £160 - £220 per day per day

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and fully qualified Primary Teacher to join vibrant schools in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education, fostering positive relationships, and contributing to the overall development of the school and its pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver the National Curriculum; assess student progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Model excellent classroom practices and support colleague development.
  • Collaborate on curriculum design and share best practices.
  • Enhance teaching and learning standards.
  • Participate in training and policy development.
  • Set targets, assess, and report on student progress.
  • Maintain and organise classroom resources.
  • Differentiate instruction to ensure equal opportunities and promote diversity.
  • Adhere to Hertfordshire County Council's educational policies.
  • Stay informed about current educational developments.
  • Assist with school reports and general support for the Headteacher.
  • Ensure student safety with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Keep parents informed on relevant issues.
  • Engage in whole school policy development.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Manage and deploy classroom staff.
  • Collaborate with professionals for pupil development.
  • Undertake other tasks assigned by the Headteacher.
  • Supervise playground and assemblies.
  • Create classroom displays showcasing student work.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and manage teaching assistants.
  • Develop expertise, share good practices, and contribute to the team.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Current and valid DBS certificate on the updated service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom.
  • SEN Experience is not required but would be desirable.
