About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) Teacher to join our committed team within an alternative provision setting in Stotfold. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, meaningful PSHE curriculum that supports the personal development, wellbeing, and future outcomes of our young people. You will work with small groups of students, many of whom require additional support with social, emotional, and mental health needs, offering a nurturing and inclusive approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and impactful PSHE lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.

  • Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment.

  • Contribute to the wider personal development programme within the school.

  • Work closely with pastoral and therapeutic staff to support students' holistic needs.

  • Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.

  • Actively contribute to the school community and its ethos.

About You

We are looking for a PSHE teacher who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people, particularly those who have experienced barriers to education.

  • Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable.

  • Experienced in delivering PSHE or a related subject (qualified teacher status desirable but not essential).

  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.

  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
