Are you a psychology student looking to gain hands-on experience in a primary school setting? Dunbar Education is seeking proactive and dedicated individuals to support students with severe learning difficulties and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) in Wolverhampton.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN), including severe learning difficulties.
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and implement tailored learning strategies.
  • Gain invaluable real-world experience in a school environment, perfect for those pursuing a career in educational psychology, child development, or SEN support.

What We're Looking For:

  • A psychology student (or a related field) eager to develop practical skills in a school setting.
  • Passionate about working with children with additional learning needs.
  • Proactive, patient, and compassionate with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is advantageous but not essential.
