Qualified Teacher of the Deaf - Permanent Position in Tower Hamlets
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to join our dynamic team in Tower Hamlets. This full-time role covers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and offers a competitive pay scale of £36,745 - £56,959 FTE, plus an additional SEN2 allowance of £3,774 per annum.
Key Requirements:
- You must be a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf with a minimum of Level 1 BSL.
- A deep understanding of the impact of hearing impairment on learning, with the ability to adapt and differentiate lessons accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on promoting inclusive education and training for deaf pupils.
- A commitment to collaborative working with colleagues across Tower Hamlets.
