Position Overview: Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a reputable Secondary School in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about educating young minds, has a strong knowledge of RE curriculum, and is committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective RE lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and development.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities and projects.
  • Participate in school events and activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments.

Experience:

  • Prior teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
  • ECT's are welcome to apply.
